STRATEGIC PARTNER

You need some experience in the room.

When the opportunities are bigger, the decisions matter more and the stakes are higher, having access to experienced strategic thinking can make a significant difference.

Strategic Partner gives you exactly that.

Rather than bringing in consultancy support only when something goes wrong, you have an experienced bid and commercial strategist in your corner every week — someone who understands your business, challenges your thinking, helps you navigate complexity and knows what good looks like.

No long-term contract. No complicated engagement. Just consistent, senior-level support when you need it.

HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS

The first three months are about building something that delivers real value. We take the time to understand your business, your people, your opportunities and the challenges you’re facing, so I can become a genuinely useful strategic partner — not someone parachuted in to solve an isolated problem. Your monthly fee is paid in advance, with a defined level of support reserved for you each month.

After the initial three months, the partnership continues month-to-month, giving you the flexibility to continue for as long as the relationship is delivering value. With 30 days’ notice to end, you get the benefit of consistent senior-level expertise without being tied into a long-term consultancy contract. The result is continuity without commitment, and strategic support that evolves with your business.

MORE THAN CONSULTANCY. A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP.

This isn't about bringing someone in to write bids or simply add capacity to your team.

It's about having an experienced strategist who can think with you, challenge you and help you make better commercial decisions.

You can use your time together where it creates the greatest value — whether that's shaping a major opportunity, reviewing a win strategy, preparing for a critical client conversation or helping your team navigate a difficult bid.

And because the relationship continues month to month, I get to understand your business, your people, your market and your ambitions.

That means the support becomes more valuable over time.

WIN.' and a white notepad with a diagram 'Winning Strategy'. The image is styled with pink, purple, and teal accents, with plants and coffee cups in the background.

WHAT CAN WE WORK ON?

Your Strategic Partner time is flexible by design, allowing us to focus on the opportunities, challenges and decisions that matter most to your business. That might mean assessing whether a major opportunity is worth pursuing, shaping the strategy and positioning that will give you the best chance of winning, or challenging your thinking to uncover what the client really needs to hear. When a live bid becomes complex, the strategy starts to drift or the client throws you a curveball, you have an experienced strategist ready to step in.

The partnership can also extend beyond individual bids — from senior stakeholder influence and difficult client situations to commercial strategy, team development and executive interview preparation. Whether you need a fresh perspective on a critical response, help bringing your senior team behind the strategy, or someone to challenge assumptions and strengthen your approach, the support flexes around what will create the greatest value. You bring the challenge. I bring the experience, perspective and strategic thinking to help you navigate it.

YOU'RE NOT BUYING DAYS. YOU'RE BUYING EXPERIENCE.

A Strategic Partner arrangement isn't designed around simply filling a certain number of consultancy days.

You're buying access to 15+ years of experience across complex bids, construction, infrastructure and renewable energy, including leading pursuit strategies worth hundreds of millions.

You're buying someone who can see the bigger picture.

Someone who will tell you when the strategy isn't strong enough.

Someone who will challenge the assumptions everyone else has accepted.

Someone who can help you work out what matters — and what doesn't.

And someone who understands that winning isn't just about producing a good response. It's about making the client believe you're the right choice.

WHO IS IT NOT FOR?

This isn't a low-cost bid writing service. With 15 years in bids and a further 10 years in sales, my experience is a bit beyond that!

Bid admin I am not. But if you want to really improve your practice and approach around the bid process, I may well be what you’re looking for.

I can provide your organisation with valuable experience, strategic thinking and challenge.

If you already know exactly what you want someone to write, there are cheaper ways to buy writing capacity.

If you want someone to help you work out what you should be saying, why it matters, how you're going to win and whether you're even pursuing the right opportunity, that's where I come in.

HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR CORNER

Sometimes the value is obvious.

Avoiding the wrong opportunity. Finding the strategy that changes the game. Spotting the weakness others miss. Helping senior teams align. Or simply having someone to call when you're thinking:

“What am I missing?”

That's the value of Strategic Partner.

Better thinking. Stronger strategy. More confident teams. Better bids. More of the right business won.

LET'S TALK

If you're considering Strategic Partner support, let's have a conversation about what you're trying to achieve, where the challenges are and whether this is the right model for you.

There’s no hard sell and no obligation.

Just a conversation about whether having an experienced strategist in your corner could make a difference.

Month-to-month. No long-term contract. Senior strategic support when you need it.
